Kim's revenge on the new year, wrote letters to the people of the country, wishes and said thank you
Contrary to his mood, North Korean leader Kim Jong Un wished to write a letter to the people of the country on the new year and also said 'thank you' for the trust and support. On this occasion, he visited the tomb of his father and grandfather. In his letter to the public, Kim thanked the people for their support and faith in the ruling party. Local news agency KCNA gave this information on Friday.
Normally Kim Jong addresses the people on those new years, but this time it is not likely. In a letter written to the public, Kim said, 'I will work hard to bring the country into the same new era, in which the ideals and wishes of our people will be fulfilled. I thank people for trusting and supporting our party even in difficult times. '
He further wrote in the letter, 'I sincerely wish the countrymen happiness and good health'. It is worth mentioning that Kim Jong Un took over power from his father in 2011. Since then they have also faced various challenges including natural disasters, sanctions on US-led countries and deadlock on the nuclear program.
